MJ-906S is a super powerful mountain bike headlight powered by a high capacity external battery pack. Along with its smaller cousin MJ-900S, also offering 6V-12V compatibility as an e-bike LED light able to integrate seamlessly into a lot of mainstream e-bikes models.
Two super bright and power efficient Luminus SST-40 LEDs with a maximum FL1 verified output of 4500 lumens, providing 15 possible brightness settings including DRL(Daytime Running Light) mode, covering all environments and riding scenarios. Aside from the independent DRL, we have added side lighting to improve rider’s passive visibility for traffic traveling along side the rider, as well as vertical light diffuser to blue and divert light beams that would other wise blind oncoming traffic.
MJ-906S is powered by our latest and most advanced USB-C battery pack MJ-6118, which consists of 4x super high capacity 21700, 5,000mAh capacity Li-ion cells. With a total capacity of 10,000mAh, offering USB Power Delivery, the 6118 battery pack can easily power most of your USB devices and support quick charging via its USB-C input/output port, making the MJ-906S a long lasting night cycling light as well as a travel companion for outdoor camping, road trips. The built-in smart thermal control system and the large-area metallic heat dissipation fins keep MJ-906’s operating temperature at optimal levels, protecting internal circuits and maintaining max output.
As an e-bike LED light, MJ-906S automatically adjusts its output levels when power input is within a 6V-12V DC range, compatible with mainstream motors from manufacturers like Bosch, Brose, Shimano and Yamaha. Specialized cables required which is not included in the retail packaging.

A few days after I ordered this and the nicer bar mount they launched a sale, that was kinda a bummer. However, the light itself I have zero complaints about. This is my first ever high powered bike light, and I was using it and thinking about how amazingly bright it was, then I realized that while I had all the lights engaged, I had it in the lowest of 4 brightness levels. Turned it on the highest and OMG, this thing is bright. I’m pretty sure it’s brighter than the headlights on my wife’s 08 honda van. I’ll probably use it on level 2 (if one next to the lowest) it’s plenty bright for my unlit suburb riding in the evenings and the battery should last a super long time that way. The only issue I have with it is on that mount I bought, I like using the top for my phone, so i mount this light upside down on the bottom mount. The lense is setup so that the top diffuses the light so as not to blind oncoming traffic. Upside down use kinda defeats this effort.

I purchased this light for my early morning commute because my 700 lumen Bontrager Ion Comp R just bright enough at speeds faster than 12mph when I reach speed up to 35mph.
When in night mode on the brightest setting it’s not as bright as I had expected from a 4000+ lumen light & I wish it had a little bit more spot & a little less flood. After more than a month of daily use I find that it is bright enough to get the job done. Most notably when the light reflects of of road signs & tail lights of parked cars. It makes it much easier to judge distance and speed.
The battery life is probably the greatest advantage to this light. Many lights only last 45 to 90 minutes at the highest brightness. I use this light on its highest setting for my early morning commute of about 45 minutes & set it to daytime strobe on my way home. I’ve gone three days without charging it & not run out of battery life. I would say the manufacturers chart with the list of brightnesses and run times is accurate.
The mounting bracket I find is very good. And hasn’t budged a bit despite many bumpy rides. The battery itself also mounts snugly and does not bounce or bobble.
If you are going on long rides in low light at low to moderate speed & don’t mind the extra weight of the battery, I believe this light will serve you well.

I am very pleased with this light set. The front light is easily recharged via the USB cable supplied, it is easy to attache to the bike (& remove for security) and the brightness is very impressive. It has options for strong light, weak light, flashing & blasting flashing.

The 906s has to be one of the best value lights on the market. At an impressive 4500 lumens, it is bright enough on its own to take on some aggressive trail rides. The large battery will outlast most riders ride at nearly 3.5 hours on the high setting. This light has a nice beam pattern that is not too focused and has soft edges. I would 100% buy this light again.
